Fractal is partnering with one of our best games Ev.io to make our popular zombie bash a regular event! Starting in February, the popular 3-day tournament will become a monthly recurring event, with a $5000 prize pool. Rack up zombie kills in your browser, and you are guaranteed to earn for every kill you make. Do it on a Macbook laptop if you want! Read below for more details.
About Ev.io

How to play
Starting in 2023, Fractal Survival Earn will become a monthly recurring event, with new content and format updates. The February tournament will take place Feb 23–26. Future Fractal Survival tournaments will take place from 15–18th every month (date subject to change).
During each Ev Fractal Survival Earn tournament, all players can earn in the Survival Earn mode by playing with a Fractal Wallet, without holding Ev NFTs or anything else in their wallet. If you are already an NFT holder and use another wallet, you’ll need to switch to Fractal Wallet for this event.
In the Fractal Survival Earn tournament, you will need to kill zombies and bosses to survive. This is a PvE 4-person co-op game. Finding a 4-person team (ask your friends) is a good idea because teams that coordinate will earn the most.
Each Fractal Survival Earn tournament will have a prize pool of $5000 USD. To participate:
- Go to Ev’s project page on Fractal, click “Play Now”
- Log in with your Ev account and link it with the Fractal Wallet in your profile
- Pick the “Survival / Earn” game mode to start
Players are ranked on the Fractal leaderboard by “Points”, which they earn based on their in-game performance (namely, killing zombies and surviving!). All players competing during the tournament will receive e earnings for every kill they make. E earning is an in-game Ev currency and can be cashed out for USDC at players’ discretion. The tournament payout will be made instantly in Ev upon every kill via e earnings.
There’s an earning cap per day, which will change based on how quickly the prize pot is earned. Note from Ev: the earning cap will be many times more than what the current 24-hour earn cap is for standard earn modes, since it’s an enormous amount of money distributed in a short period of time.
The February tournament will start on Feb 23, 10pm UTC and continue for 3 days, ending on Feb 26, 10pm UTC.
Players receive boosted earnings for having Ev NFTs equipped (10% boost for common NFTs, 10.5% for rare, 11.0% for epic and 11.5 % for legendary). There’s a max of ~35% boost (equipping 3 is the max, so 3 legendaries is ~35%). If you don’t have an Ev NFT, you can buy one on Fractal. Or, you can rent one for free (see the #scholarships channel in the ev.io discord).
Anti-Cheating
Fractal and Fractal game partners reserve the right to disqualify tournament players in the event of cheating.
It is considered cheating and is strictly prohibited to:
- Tamper with the game to gain an advantage over other players
- Use third-party software / macros to automate gameplay
- Use third-party software to modify game data
- Share your wallet or account
- Tamper with your reported score
- Exploit a bug to gain an unfair advantage over other players
Cheating will result in disqualification from the tournament and forfeiture of any leaderboard prizes.
Fractal also reserves the right to terminate cheaters’ accounts and prevent entry in future tournaments. Fractal reserves the right to update its anti-cheating policies.
